The Citizens Advice service across Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale & Trafford have been providing free, confidential, impartial and independent information, advice and guidance since 1939.
We aim to provide the advice people need for the problems they face and improve the policies and practices that affect people's lives. We are a voice for our clients and consumers on the issues that matter to them. We value diversity, champion equality and challenge discrimination. We're here for everyone.
We are a network of local charities, all with the same aim
We are part of a network of of around 280 independent local charities across England and Wales. Our services are provided by over 22,000 trained volunteers and 7,000 paid staff.
Each local Citizens Advice charity is a member of the national Citizens Advice charity. All together we form the Citizens Advice service.
